Smucker's
Smucker's has been a family favorite and I feel like others can say the same. Smucker's launched in 1897, and the branding has stayed relatively the same, but social media is tricky to navigate with a traditional business and marketing. I thought Smucker's could do a better job with cohesiveness and staying true to its values.

Before
Smucker's has been a jam brand for centuries now. With time, the brand has had to modernize, but has always stayed true to their small town feel. The Instagram feed wasn't bad, but I felt like it lacked color and cohesiveness.
I utilized Pinterest to create a mood board for this rebrand. I knew I wanted to utilize realism, but I knew I would need some more creative and eye-catching filler photos as well. I also ended up keeping a few reels and photos from the original feed, as well.

With the use of Adobe Photoshop, I took photos from the mood board, along with product photos from the website to develop aesthetically-pleasing, yet enticing product imagery. These photos will be posted on the Instagram, but are versatile.
After
Here is the final product!
My goal was to maintain the authentic, small-company feel, despite it being a large corporation. I incorporated close-up product shots and ingredient photos to highlight the quality. I also preserved the playful tone of the original feed with puns. Additionally, I included "farmer core" images to reinforce the brand’s values of homemade recipes and its roots in Ohio.
